1. About these Terms
These Terms are the rules for using Rabt-e-Nikah ("we", "us"), a marriage introduction service for adults and families in Pakistan, at https://rabtenikah.odoo.com. By submitting a proposal, asking for contact access, or using any feature that asks you to accept these Terms, you agree to them. You can browse approved proposals without registering.
These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy and our Profile Review & Publication Rules. When you register, the form also asks for your separate confirmations, including your agreement to publish your proposal and to share your contact details. These Terms do not replace those steps.
2. Who can use Rabt-e-Nikah
- You must be 18 or older. We do not accept a proposal for anyone under 18, whatever the minimum marriage age is in a particular province.
- You must use the service for a genuine marriage purpose.
- You may register another adult, such as a son, daughter or sibling, only if that adult knows about it and has agreed to publication and to the sharing of their contact details. By registering them you confirm this. If we learn that they did not agree, we may close the proposal.
3. What we do, and what we do not do
We give you a place to publish and browse proposals, and a way to ask for contact details. We are not a marriage agent or guardian and we do not arrange meetings. We do not promise a reply, compatibility, an engagement, a Nikah or a marriage. Decisions stay with the people and families involved.
We review each proposal before it goes live, but we do not verify identity, education, job, income, marital status, family background or anything else an applicant tells us. Please check the details yourself.
4. Registering a proposal
- Registration is free. It does not guarantee that your proposal will be approved.
- Give accurate and complete information. Do not use false details, pretend to be someone else, or register a person without their permission.
- Do not write phone numbers, links, email addresses or street addresses in free-text fields such as "About your family". Our form blocks most of these, and we may remove any that get through.
- One proposal per person. A phone number can be linked to one proposal, and we may refuse a duplicate.
- Tell us on WhatsApp if something important changes, such as your marital status or city, so we can correct your proposal.
- When you submit, we record your confirmations, the time, and the version of these documents you agreed to.
5. Review, approval and your RN ID
A new proposal starts as "Pending". When you message us on WhatsApp with your RN ID, our team reviews it. We may approve it, ask you to correct something, or decline it. We decide in good faith. We may decline a proposal that is incomplete, unclear, misleading, a duplicate, or against our rules, and we will tell you on WhatsApp or by email where we can.
The review checks completeness and whether the proposal follows our rules. It does not prove that what is written is true, and approval is not an endorsement of the person.
Your RN ID is a reference number. It is not proof of identity. Only approved and active proposals appear on the website.
6. What is shown on a proposal
After approval, a proposal shows: first name, age, height, city, caste and sect, marital status, whether there are children (where relevant), education, profession, the income range if the applicant chose to share it, parents' status, father's occupation, siblings, house status, the family description, and what the applicant is looking for.
Full name, phone number, WhatsApp number and email address are never shown on the website. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
7. How long a proposal stays live
A proposal stays live for 180 days after it was last confirmed. In the last 15 days we send a reminder email (if you gave an email address), and your status page shows a "My proposal is still active" button. If you do not confirm, the proposal closes automatically. To make a closed proposal live again, message us on WhatsApp. We may also close or hide a proposal earlier for the reasons in section 13.
8. Contact access
Contact access costs Rs. 300 for one proposal. The fee pays for the contact access service. It does not pay for a match or any outcome.
- Message us on WhatsApp with the proposal's RN ID. The button on the proposal page fills it in for you.
- We send you the payment instructions.
- You pay and send us the proof.
- We check that the money has actually reached us. A screenshot alone is not proof. We also check that the proposal is still active and that the applicant's agreement to share their details is on record.
- We send you the contact details on WhatsApp.
Pay only to the account details we send you from our official WhatsApp number, +92 311 0654726. Do not pay anyone else, and do not trust a message from another number that says it is us. Never send passwords, PINs or one-time codes (OTP) to anyone.
If we cannot verify your payment, the proposal is no longer active, or the applicant's agreement is missing, we will not share the details until the problem is sorted out. Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy.
What you receive is the full proposal, including the applicant's full name, contact number, WhatsApp number and, if they gave one, email address. Contact access does not guarantee that the other person or family will reply or agree to talk.
9. Using contact details responsibly
Use the details only for respectful, genuine marriage communication with that applicant or their family about that proposal. We encourage you to involve your family from the start. You must not:
- share, forward, post or sell the details, or add the person to a group or mailing list;
- use the details for marketing or any unrelated purpose;
- contact someone again and again after they have said no, or pressure, threaten or harass them;
- use the details for fraud or anything unlawful.
Misusing another person's personal information can also be an offence under the laws of Pakistan. If we receive a credible report of misuse, we may refuse further service and, where appropriate, share relevant information with the authorities.
10. Payments and refunds
Once contact details have been shared, the Rs. 300 fee is generally not refunded. A refund or replacement can apply for a duplicate payment, a mistake on our side, or a proposal that was unavailable before we shared the details. The full rules are in the Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms removes a right you have under the law.
11. Rules for everyone
Do not use Rabt-e-Nikah to:
- break the law, commit fraud, or send fake, altered or misleading payment proof;
- post or send abusive, hateful or humiliating content or messages;
- copy proposals in bulk, use bots or scrapers, or try to get into our systems or interfere with the website;
- advertise, sell, recruit, or contact applicants for anything other than marriage;
- use another person's information without their permission.
12. Reports, corrections and removal
- To report a concern about a proposal, use the "Report a concern" link on the proposal page or message us on WhatsApp with the RN ID.
- To correct, close or remove your proposal, message us on WhatsApp with your RN ID. We may ask you to confirm it is you, for example by using your registered phone number. We take the proposal off the website as soon as we can, normally within 3 working days. The Privacy Policy explains which records we keep.
- While we look into a concern we may hide a proposal. We cannot promise to verify every claim.
13. Our right to act
We may reject, hide, close or remove a proposal, or refuse contact access, if we reasonably believe there is false or misleading information, impersonation, a missing permission, misuse of contact details, harassment, a safety or privacy concern, a breach of these Terms, or a legal requirement. Where it is reasonable, we will ask you to explain first. Closing a proposal does not cancel a refund you were already entitled to.
14. Our responsibility
We take reasonable care in reviewing proposals and running the service. We cannot guarantee that every detail is accurate, current or complete, that anyone will reply or be suitable, or that the website will always be available. You are responsible for your own decisions, checks and conduct.
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for what other people do, for a decision not to go ahead, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that the law does not allow us to exclude, such as for fraud, or any consumer right you have.
15. Privacy
How we collect, use, share and keep your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
16. Changes
We may change the service or these Terms. The version and date at the top of this page show which version applies. If a change affects how your proposal is published or how your contact details are shared, we will ask you again before applying it to your proposal.
17. Messages and records
We contact you on the phone number, WhatsApp number or email address you gave us. We keep electronic records, such as your confirmations, messages and payment details, as needed to run the service and handle disputes. Electronic records are valid as far as the law allows.
18. Governing law and complaints
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If you are unhappy with something, please tell us first on WhatsApp. We aim to reply within 7 days. You can also go to a consumer court or any authority that has jurisdiction. Nothing here limits that right. If a part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
