In short

  • Our team reads every proposal before it goes live. The review checks that the proposal is complete, clear and follows these Rules.
  • We do not verify identity, education, job, income or family background. Approval is not an endorsement of the person.
  • The review starts when you message us your RN ID on WhatsApp. The outcome is approved, correction needed, or declined.
  • Keep phone numbers, links, email addresses and street addresses out of the free-text fields.
  • You can ask us on WhatsApp to correct, close or remove your proposal at any time.

Mukhtasar mein: har proposal live hone se pehle hamari team parhti hai. Review sirf yeh dekhta hai ke proposal mukammal, saaf aur in qawaid ke mutabiq hai. Agar English aur Roman Urdu mein farq ho to English matn hi maana jayega.

1. About these Rules

These Rules explain how Rabt-e-Nikah reviews a proposal before it is published, what we ask you to correct, and what we decline. They work together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

The registration form asks you to agree to these Rules before you submit. Reading them first helps your proposal get through the review faster.

2. What the review is

A new proposal starts as "Pending" and is not public. Our team reads it before it appears on the website. The review checks whether the proposal is complete, easy to understand, and follows these Rules and our Terms.

It is a reading of what the applicant submitted. We do not check identity, education, job, income, marital status or family background, and we do not run a background check. Approval is not an endorsement of the person. Please check the details yourself and involve your family.

3. How the review works

  1. Submit the form. You get an RN ID, and your proposal is saved as Pending.
  2. Message us your RN ID on WhatsApp. The confirmation page has a button with the message ready. This starts the review.
  3. Our team reads your proposal.
  4. We tell you the outcome on WhatsApp, and by email if you gave one.
  5. If it is approved, your proposal goes live on the website and stays live for 180 days.

We cannot promise how long a review takes. You can see where your proposal stands at any time on the Check Status page, with your RN ID and registered phone number.

4. What we look at

  • Every required answer is filled in, and the answers agree with each other.
  • The person is 18 or older, and the proposal is for a genuine marriage purpose.
  • The applicant's agreement to publish the proposal and to share contact details is recorded. If the proposal was registered for another adult, that adult's permission is confirmed.
  • The free-text fields follow section 6.
  • The proposal is not a duplicate. One phone number is linked to one proposal.
  • Nothing in the proposal looks false or misleading.

5. Possible outcomes

Status
What it means
Pending Review
Your proposal is saved and waiting for our team. It is not on the website.
Correction Required
Something needs to change before we can approve it. Message us on WhatsApp with your RN ID. We tell you what to change and review the proposal again after the change. It stays off the website until then.
Approved
Your proposal is live. A 180-day period starts from the day it is approved or last confirmed.
Rejected
We cannot publish this proposal. We tell you on WhatsApp, or by email where we can. You can ask us a question on WhatsApp.

We may ask for a correction or decline a proposal when it is:

  • incomplete, unclear or misleading;
  • a duplicate of another proposal;
  • for someone under 18;
  • registered for another adult without that adult's permission, or in someone else's name;
  • carrying contact details or other content that breaks section 6 or the rules for everyone in the Terms of Service;
  • otherwise against these Rules or the Terms.

6. Free-text fields

Some fields let you write your own words: "About your family", father's occupation, "Anything else" in your preferences, the caste preference, and the "please specify" box when you choose "Other". Whatever you write there is visible to every visitor once your proposal is approved.

What to write

Short, plain facts. For example: joint family, educated, simple and religious.

What to leave out

  • Phone numbers, WhatsApp numbers, email addresses, links and social media handles. Your contact details have their own fields and are never public.
  • Your street or home address.
  • Names, numbers or private details of other people, such as relatives.
  • Abusive, hateful or humiliating words about any person, group, caste or sect.
  • Advertising, or offers of anything other than marriage.
  • Details you know are false.

Please do not send photos or copies of ID cards. We do not ask for them.

The form blocks most contact details automatically. If something still gets through, we may remove it or ask you to correct it.

7. What is public, and what is not

After approval, visitors can see: first name, age, height, city, caste and sect, marital status, whether there are children (where relevant), education, field of study, profession, the income range (only if you chose to share it), parents' status, father's occupation, brothers and sisters, house status, the family description, and what you are looking for. Before you submit, the form shows you a preview.

Your full name, contact number, WhatsApp number and email address are never shown on the website. They go to a person who asks for contact access only after we check the payment, check that your proposal is still active, and check that your agreement is on record. More detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Some of this information, such as caste, sect and marital status, is personal. Share it only if you are comfortable with website visitors seeing it.

8. Who can register

  • You must be 18 or older. We do not accept a proposal for anyone under 18.
  • You can register yourself. You can register another adult, such as a son, daughter or sibling, only if that adult knows about it and has agreed to publication and to the sharing of their contact details.
  • One person has one proposal. If we find a second proposal for the same person, we may close one of them.
  • If we learn that an adult did not agree, we may close the proposal.

9. After your proposal is live

  • Keep it correct. If something important changes, such as your marital status or city, message us on WhatsApp with your RN ID so we can correct your proposal.
  • Confirm every 180 days. A proposal stays live for 180 days after it was last confirmed. In the last 15 days we send a reminder email, if you gave an address, and your status page shows a "My proposal is still active" button.
  • If you do not confirm, the proposal closes automatically. Message us on WhatsApp to make it live again.
  • If you found your match, you do not need to do anything. The proposal closes by itself, or you can ask us to close it sooner.

We may also hide or close a proposal earlier for the reasons in section 13 of the Terms of Service.

10. Reports, hiding and removal

  • To report a concern about a proposal, use the "Report a concern" link on the proposal page, or message us on WhatsApp with the RN ID.
  • While we look into a concern, we may hide the proposal. We cannot promise to verify every claim.
  • To remove your own proposal, message us on WhatsApp with your RN ID. We may ask you to confirm it is you, for example with your registered phone number. We take it off the website as soon as we can, normally within 3 working days.

The Privacy Policy explains which records we keep after removal. If someone misuses contact details they received, see section 9 of the Terms of Service.

11. Our decisions

We decide in good faith. Where it is reasonable, we ask you to explain before we reject, hide or close a proposal. If you disagree with a decision, message us on WhatsApp. We aim to reply within 7 days. You can also go to a consumer court or any authority that has jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these Rules

We may update these Rules. The version and date at the top show which one applies. If a change affects how your proposal is published or how your contact details are shared, we will ask you again before applying it to your proposal.
